The 120-V3 is a three-station injection stretch blow molding machine with a 50 mm screw and a catalog injection volume of 440 cm³. Its one-to-six-cavity reference table supports bottle-specific selection, while the mold installation interface is an important part of reviewing an existing tooling project.
Evaluate the injection specification, bottle drawing and mold interfaces together for the intended resin and container.
A Three-Station Option with a 440 cm³ Injection Specification
The 120-V3 combines a 50 mm screw with 440 cm³ of theoretical injection volume, a 190 cm³/s injection rate and a 212 MPa injection-pressure entry. These specifications describe this model's injection unit and should remain attached to its proposed tooling configuration.
For selection, connect the bottle mass and chosen cavity count to a preform and shot calculation. A larger nominal injection volume does not by itself establish better processing for a small shot or a higher finished-bottle output.
Form the preform with the selected injection tool and cavity arrangement.

The material list is a starting point for a resin-specific review. Confirm the exact grade, drying arrangement, temperature-control settings and preform design for each proposed production case.
The 45 kW value is the machine installed-power entry. Include the selected auxiliary equipment when preparing the production-cell electrical schedule.
Review the existing mold interface. A standardized installation size is described in the catalog. Reuse still requires checking mounting dimensions, strokes, neck handling and the proposed process against the actual mold drawings.

Check Neck Size and Bottle Weight Together
The one- and two-cavity references both list a 105 mm body. Their neck and bottle-weight entries differ, so the body diameter alone cannot determine the cavity layout.

Read each row as one matched reference. The one-cavity neck and weight entries are 80 mm and 200 g; at two cavities they are 60 mm and 140 g. At six cavities, the reference body is 25 mm with a 15 mm neck. Final suitability depends on the complete bottle, preform and mold design.
Project planning
Review Tooling, Resin and Installation Together
Use the original machine and mold details to identify the required interfaces and any changes needed for the proposed 120-V3 process.
Assess the Complete Mold Set
The review should include the injection tool, neck rings, blow tool and removal arrangement. Check the 600 mm upper and 475 mm lower injection strokes and the 115 mm blow mold opening stroke against the tool interfaces.
These figures define the drawing review; they do not establish compatibility with every imported mold or another three-station machine. Include mounting dimensions and the original machine reference when requesting an assessment.
The machine envelope is 4.3 × 1.5 × 3.1 m, with a listed weight of 6 t. Allow for the approved tool-access arrangement and the selected auxiliaries when planning the installation.

Choose the Process for the Resin and Container
The catalog names PET, PETG, PP, PC, PEN, PPSU and Tritan. A project using any of these materials still needs a specific resin grade, processing configuration and bottle requirement.
Document the drying arrangement, temperature-control settings and preform design for the proposed material. Confirm the processing configuration through a technical review and trial.
If several resins are intended for the same machine, assess them as separate production cases and define what changes between them. One unchanged setting should not be assumed to suit every resin.

When to Compare the 120-V4
Evaluate the 120-V4 when a separate conditioning position is relevant to the bottle process. Its 45 mm screw and 255 cm³ injection volume form a different specification package.
Use the same bottle drawing, resin grade and tooling requirements for both proposals. The shared 120 designation does not establish identical injection behavior or mold compatibility.
Prepare the existing-tool drawings, compare the paired neck and weight references, and decide whether a separate conditioning position is relevant.
What information is needed to assess an existing mold?
Provide the mold mounting drawing, neck-ring details, original machine reference and bottle drawing. Check the 600 mm upper and 475 mm lower injection strokes and the 115 mm blow-opening stroke against the tool interfaces.
What changes between the one- and two-cavity references?
Both list a 105 mm body diameter, but the neck reference changes from 80 mm to 60 mm and the bottle-weight entry changes from 200 g to 140 g.
When should the 120-V4 also be evaluated?
Compare it when a separate conditioning position is relevant to the bottle process. Its 45 mm screw and 255 cm³ injection volume form a different specification package.
