250-V4S Hybrid ISBM Machine for Wide-Neck Containers
The 250-V4S is a four-station hybrid platform with a reference envelope extending to a 204 mm body and 146 mm neck in its one-cavity layout. It is a model to assess when container diameter and neck opening are central to the tooling decision.
Match the closure, shoulder profile and body geometry to one complete cavity layout before selecting the mold.
9, 12 and 14 cavities are additional special layouts requiring product-specific tooling review. The 146 mm neck reference applies to one cavity.
Model overview
Evaluate Wide Openings Together with the Body Layout
The 250-V4S offers several lower-cavity references with relatively large neck and body dimensions. Its one-cavity row pairs a 146 mm neck with a 204 mm body, while its four-cavity row pairs a 92 mm neck with a 120 mm body. Both list a 310 mm height reference.
These paired dimensions are useful when the container opening is a major part of the design. The closure drawing, shoulder profile and mold arrangement remain part of the same selection; neck size alone cannot establish suitability.
Form the preform using the 60 mm injection unit and selected mold layout.
02
Conditioning
Condition the preform at a separate station before blowing.
03
Stretch Blowing
Stretch and blow the preform into the specified neck and body geometry.
04
Ejection
Remove the container through the configured ejection arrangement.

Confirm the individual motor loads, heater circuits and supply requirements in the electrical schedule for your configuration.
Review the shot across all active cavities. State the resin, preform design and required shot in the technical proposal. Nominal container capacity alone does not establish the injection requirement for a multi-cavity mold.

Keep Large-Container and Multi-Cavity Limits Separate

* 9, 12 and 14 cavities are special arrangements requiring product-based tooling selection. The 12- and 14-cavity references reduce bottle height to 150 mm and 110 mm respectively. They represent different bottle projects from the earlier 310 mm references.
Body diameter, neck size and height from different rows must not be combined. Final suitability depends on the complete bottle, preform and mold design.
Project planning
Check Conditioning, Tooling and Installation Requirements
Send the complete container and closure drawings so the neck opening, body geometry and preform can be reviewed as one molding project.
Define the Wide-Neck Tooling Arrangement
The process uses a separate conditioning station before blowing. A wide neck or large body changes the mold layout and preform requirements, so the full drawing is more useful for selection than nominal container capacity alone.
Include the closure dimensions, shoulder profile, resin grade and bottle mass. For special nine-, twelve- or fourteen-cavity layouts, request an additional tooling review and define the accepted-output calculation using the proposed configuration.
Plan the Machine and Utility Connections
The machine envelope is 5.25 × 2.12 × 3.13 m, with a listed weight of 11.5 t. Use the installation plan to arrange positioning, tool access and the selected auxiliary equipment.
Keep cooling-water and cooling-tower connections identified separately. Confirm the blowing-air and operating-air supplies and the final electrical requirements in the installation schedule.

Keep 250-V4S and H250-V4 Specifications Separate
The 250-V4S and H250-V4 are separate models with different tooling envelopes. Compare the actual bottle and mold requirements using each model's own specifications.
For smaller containers at higher cavity counts, the 300-V4S concentrates on eight-to-twenty-four-cavity layouts with smaller bottle envelopes. Review the 160-V4S when a smaller hybrid configuration fits the project.
A different tooling envelope; compare its own specification package.
160-V4S
A smaller hybrid configuration for the proposed bottle.
300-V4S
Higher cavity counts for smaller bottle envelopes.
Model questions
Questions About the 250-V4S
Review special cavity arrangements, the four-cavity bottle limits and the utilities needed for the selected configuration.
Which layouts are marked as special?
The catalog marks 9, 12 and 14 cavities as special arrangements requiring product-based selection.
Can the one-cavity bottle dimensions be used with four cavities?
No. Four cavities have their own 120 mm body and 92 mm neck reference. The one-cavity dimensions do not transfer to that layout.
What utilities are listed?
The catalog gives cooling-water and cooling-tower flows of 80 and 200 L/min, maximum blowing air at 4 MPa and operating air at 1.0 MPa. Final connection requirements belong in the installation schedule.
